The Chart du Jour
Yesterday we referred to a Quatrain from the prophecies of Nostradamus that referred to an attack on a new city and something that occurs six days later. I have now researched this Quatrain a bit more, and find that many Nostradamus commentators believe it refers not to current times, but instead to the 1967 Iraeli-Arab Six Day War. In this war, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt (Nostradamus's reference to "three") surrendered after six days of intense fighting, and then had their prisoners released and "pardoned" -- per the Quatrain.
This does not mean that Nostradamus did not have visions as to what happened in New York yesterday. Consider the following:
Quatrain II, 70The dart from heaven will make its journey;
Death while speaking: a great execution.
The stone in the tree, the proud nation brought down;
Rumor of a human monster, purge and expiation.
Is the phrase "stone in a tree" really refering to an airplane imbedded in a high building? Is "Death while speaking" perhaps a reference to Bush giving a speech to school children in Florida at the time of the crash? Or perhaps it is refering to all the television news commentators who were already talking about the World Trade Center disaster as the second airplane hit.
We do not have all the answers at Sandspring.com, but we do have an inquistive mind. We accept that there are certain internal rhythms to man's behavior that people from the time of Giza, through Archimedes, Fibonacci, Nostradamus, and Elliott caught small glimpses of.
Man still needs to harness and respect the tools of these visionaries far better than we do at present.
Our hearts go out to the victims of this tragedy.
